Let Your Creativity Blossom 1

This was an assignment for an advanced design class I'm finishing up. We were given an article from HOW Magazine and assigned the task of designing spreads for it. Had to be 2 spreads (or some combination equal to 4 pages) and contain ALL text from the article. Also had to be relatively visually interesting and we were encouraged to avoid obvious imagery.

So here she is. I really like doing editorials and things like this, but I didn't care for the article. I illustrated primarily with geometric shapes and text since I wanted to avoid any sort of floral images at all costs. The article comes off industrial since it seeks to provide simple steps to harnessing creativity, so that was my inspiration.
